It's always lovely to introduce friends to one of my 'happy places': Harlow Carr Gardens in Harrogate. We had a gentle stroll around, enjoying some unexpected sunshine. (The rain cleared up just as we arrived.) It made for challenging conditions for photography, with strong but low sunlight. On the other hand, it illuminated the plants in an interesting way, which I've tried to capture in these images.
Spectacular proof that there's no such thing as "bad light" for taking photos. The fourth one is a real work of art.
