Autumn trees


Even at RHS Harlow Carr Gardens, the autumn tree colour seemed a bit muted but I picked out these three vignettes as being worth capturing, for different reasons. I liked the angular shapes the branches made in the top photo. 

The tree below caught the light beautifully, looking like candy floss against the darkly shadowed background. 


In the third image, I liked the way the branches cascaded, shown up against the lighter trunks.
