Having recently acquired an annual Harewood Members' pass, it means I can go anytime I like to visit the house and explore the grounds. A stroll by the lakeside is always lovely and with daffodils blooming, magnolias laden with blossom and rhododendrons beginning to flower, there was a feeling of spring in the air, despite the endless drizzle.
Part of the grounds was made some time ago into a 'Himalayan Garden', showcasing shrubs from Asia and complete with an authentic Buddhist Stupa, constructed in 2004 by monks from Bhutan at the invitation of David Lascelles, Earl of Harewood.
What a really lovely place! Thanks for the shots of your colorful spring!
