Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

I understand the phrase 'cat on a hot tin roof' (from the play by Tennessee Williams) is used to describe someone 'in a state of extreme nervous worry'.  This cat on a hot tin roof, on the other hand, was so chilled it might well have been asleep, and took no notice of me or my camera.

  1. Must wonder if the vehicle was owned by the same people the cat owned. He's certainly not anxious is he!

  2. Our cat used to love climbing around on people's cars.

  3. Probably half asleep....cats do like being warm.
