Inevitably, wherever you look in Leeds the taggers have been at work. Much of it is messy scrawl, but sometimes there are interesting areas to dwell on. This was another of my mini-projects during the camera club outing along the canal. Colourful at any rate...
I was so inspired by your post yesterday that I spent most of the afternoon creating some grids of my own to make collages. Now of course I have to take the pictures! I was watching a YouTube video recently about the Southside of Chicago - apparently graffiti is less of a problem there now. An intelligent young man who was being interviewed explained that those who wanted to express their individuality or taunt other gangs these days do so via Instagram - "Instagram is the new graffiti!"
ReplyDeleteYes they did.
ReplyDeleteI find taggers dismaying.
ReplyDeleteAt least they are not on top of someone's art mural.
ReplyDeleteGood photo!
ReplyDeleteI read it and right away I thought...Yes, they did, but not all of them. lol
