In Saltaire, people certainly make the most of the minimal spaces around their homes. This backyard boasts an enormous sunflower. I thought it made a rather cheerful scene, along with the colourful pegs on the washing line and all the watering cans. That's the main snag to container growing in a dry summer such as we've been having... endless watering is needed.
