Frosted grasses

I happened upon a small patch of frosted grasses beside the embryonic nature reserve just beyond Roberts Park. I liked the way the pale fronds stood out against the darker backdrop.

I debated whether to clone out the rogue strand below that goes left to right instead of agreeing with the rest of its buddies... but then, nature is never perfect. Looking at it again, it puts me in mind of a conductor trying to control an unruly choir!

  1. Indeed, the sopranos are going one way while the bases are going the other!
