More from my visit before Christmas to Bradford Industrial Museum:

Bobbins and spindles - details of the machinery used to draw and spin wool fibres into strong thread for weaving worsted cloth.

  1. It's fascinating to see the industrialization of what I call women's crafts...fabric arts these days.

  2. I greatly enjoyed these industrial shots, Jenny, and you did a wonderful job (as always) in capturing the essence of this museum. Our apt is a building that once made flannel and wool blankets and many years ago there was very large machinery in these buildings. I hope your Christmas was peaceful and joyful and send best wishes for a better and Happy New Year. I have greatly enjoyed your posts this past year.
