Another of those 'scavenger hunt' topics was 'Something Red' so here are my results. These were all taken on my phone one day, just to enliven my usual walk. I sometimes wonder if people think I'm mad if they see me photographing a pedestrian crossing signal - but who cares, really?
Yes, who cares! And other people do that, too, photographing "odd" things that others may not deem worthy of being photographed.
ReplyDeleteRed does something to us, doesn't it. I like your collection.
Looks like a fun hunt. I'm sure people sometimes wonder what on earth I find worth taking photos of as well... ;)
ReplyDeleteCool.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, how can we sign up for a photography scavenger hunt?
ReplyDeleteIt was through my camera club that I got the prompts. If you scroll back through my blog to the beginning of October you'll see a few more. Basically it's just a matter of going out with a view to finding, say, one colour, or one subject, or one photographic 'rule' (rule of thirds for instance, or having an odd number of items) and just searching for images inspired by that. You can really use any prompt: a colour, 'lines', 'bridges', 'stones', patterns etc.
DeleteA study in red! Yes indeed!
ReplyDeleteThe pedestrian signal is the gem of the lot!
