Whenever I walk up High Bank Lane (aptly named!) I pause to look back at the glorious view up the Aire valley. ( Well, OK, the truth is I pause to catch my breath but we'll gloss over that!) The town in the middle distance is Bingley, with the wooded St Ives Estate on the left.

Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with catching your breath while at the same time admiring the view, and it is certainly worth admiring.
ReplyDeleteThose pauses to breathe are excellent for enjoying the view. Back when I could still climb the mountain we live on, I found it amazing how the view changed at each stop.
