With remarkable commercial restraint, Salts Mill waited until December to install and decorate its Christmas trees. As usual, they are lofty and magnificent.
The Home Shop within the mill had a lovely selection of festive wreaths. Last year, most of the residents in my apartment building hung wreaths on their front doors. I felt a bit 'naked' as I didn't have one! This year I'm going to have to remedy that and put one up. These, though attractive, would be too heavy, I think.
The trees are beautiful and really bring a festive atmosphere to the place, without being so over the top the way you see in many shops.
ReplyDeleteAs for the wreaths, the middle one looks a bit lighter than the others, and the shape and colour of the leaves is very pretty.
It all looks very festive. Not possible to put up wreaths on the doors where I live, since nowadays we have metal security doors (disguised to look like wood but that's fake...)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful (maybe artificial?) trees. And I like the wreaths too. I used to have a hanger which went over the top of the door, but don't remember where it's stored! Trouble with seasonal decorations!
