A tiny, tangled front garden on Victoria Road, full of texture and colour. The lilac paintwork is a bold choice but I think it works quite well.
I took the bottom photo first but a few days later the roses were even more extravagant so I took another picture!

Lovely to see. Front gardens seem outmoded now, mostly paved over for parking while the garage is used for storage. A street full of such pretty gardens would be wonderful in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteRoses round the cottage door, well not quite but yes the colour of the door enhances them.
ReplyDeleteI'm struck by the different tones of pink from the two different photos. Just shows what lighting and atmosphere can do. Right now there's heavy fog outside, which deepens the soft colors.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty little garden.
ReplyDeleteLovely, the first photo especially :)
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely! Especially the pink rose. And, as you say, the lilac works well.
