We had a talk on Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) at the camera club recently. That's a technique whereby you set a slow shutter speed and slightly move the camera as the image is recorded. It's a bit of a 'hit and miss' affair (in my experience anyway) that involves deleting more images as 'failures' than those that seem to any degree pleasing. Nevertheless, I think it's good to play creatively and try different things. There's nothing like striking while the iron is hot, so the very next day I went out to have a go. I've tried it before but not recently. I actually used my phone camera for these, with an app called 'Slow Shutter', as I find it gives the desired effect without having to use filters and all the technicalities that necessitates.
So here are a few of Saltaire's recognisable views, with a bit of wobble. (I know Barbara won't like these because of her eyesight - my apologies to her and anyone else that finds them tricky.)

I really like the last one. Next thing I know you’ll be doing double exposures!
